Turkish Kilims

Close-up of various embroidered textile fabrics with intricate patterns and different colors, including white, gold, black, red, pink, purple, and multicolored sections.

A kilim is a flat woven textile without pile, originating from regions such as Turkey, North Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, the Balkans, the Caucasus and China. Each type of kilim is associated with the country it was produced.

I have a real love for these soft faded pastel kilims, they work beautifully in bedrooms adding a touch of character and personality.
