Vintage Dhurrie 040
I sourced these dhurries whilst in India earlier in the year and they’re lovely and soft as well as beautiful!
These wonderful dhurries were made in Royal courts, village homes and jails dating between 17th - 19th century. They have been lovingly washed and refurbished to bring them to the perfect usable condition they’re in today :)
Such wonderful colours and design on this beauty! These rugs are reverable and because of its age one side has much more muted colours, both are delicious,,,
Size: 253 x 251cm
I would recommend using an underlay for any flatweave rug, it protects the rug as well as helping to keep it in place. My suggestion would be FOXI underlay.
