Ziri Beni Ourain
This is a wonderful old beni that I have acutally had folded up in my own home waiting to use one day. I have tried to make it fit and work at home but I cannot seem to find the right place for it… So I am very reluctantly listing it here so someone else can enjoy it.
There are a few marks and a slight rust looking mark to one side, but that didn’t stop me falling in love with it…!
Beni Ourain rugs are hugely popular. They are woven by the Berber Tribes of the Atlas Mountains, on looms using decades old techniques with 100% natural wool and dyes.
All one off pieces, they are surprisingly modern looking with their simple designs, usually in cream and black. Each rug is completely unique as they are woven by eye, slightly imperfect but full of character.

Please note: This is a vintage item and you should expect to see evidence of wear, potentially some reparations and slight ‘imperfections’, which I believe add to the character and charm of the rug.
